The Montreal Canadiens signed free agent forward Ryan Flinn to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday.

The Leafs have signed restricted free agent, forward Matt Stajan to a two-year contract worth $3.5 million.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced they have signed free agent forward Arron Asham to a multi-year contract.

The Minnesota Wild signed defenceman Tomas Mojzis to a multi-year contract, the club announced Monday.

The Anaheim Ducks signed goaltender David LeNeveu to a one-year contract on Monday.

The Tampa Bay Lightning continued to pile on veteran support on Monday, signing forward Mark Recchi to a one-year, $1.25 million contract.

E poi...

Free agent centre Brendan Morrison is off the free agent list, as the B.C. native is set to join the Anaheim Ducks. Terms of the impending contract are not known, but it is expected to be a one- or two-year deal.

Cavolo, mi sono dimenticato...

Rumors are swirling that Shanahan could be on this way to a new team. Indications are that Columbus has made an offer of upwards of 3.5m per year for 2 years.          :penso:

The Blue Jackets have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent center Michael Peca, The Dispatch has learned.
Best guess here is it's a two-year deal. It could be announced as soon as Tuesday. Apparently, there are some minor details to hammer out before it's completed.

:penso:

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that the club has signed Group II free agent forward Steve Bernier to an offer sheet worth $2.5 million for next season. The Canucks will have seven days to match the offer or receive St. Louis’ 2nd round draft choice in 2009.          :lol2:

In an interview with Vancouver radio station CKNW, free agent forward Pavol Demitra confirmed that the Canucks are his preferred destination and expects to sign with the team.       :penso:

Ma c'e' spazio per talenti 'up and coming' come Bernier e Wellwood.
Half the game is mental. The other half is being mental.

The goaltender -- whose contract was bought out by the Senators last month -- has agreed to a one-year deal which could pay him in excess of $2 million plus bonuses next season with Atlant Mytishchi of the newly-formed Continental Hockey League in Russia, Sun Media has learned. While the 25-year-old hoped to play in the NHL next season, his agent J.P. Barry got just three calls.  .....forse il freddo calmerà i suoi bollenti spiriti... :lmao:

Poi Fedorov ha "rifirmato" coi caps...
The Washington Capitals have re-signed forward Sergei Fedorov to a one-year $4 million contract....non male, però 4 mln mi sembrano tantini, anche se ormai quest'anno mi sono fatto l'abitudine...certo che un milioncino invece di buttarlo, potrebbero darlo a me, sarei molto felice... :forza:
