Ma in realtà, oltre ad una condotta di vita non sempre da professionista, con risse, accuse di stupro, sexy tape finiti in rete, il vero problema di Kieron Dyer sono i suoi muscoli fatti di cristallo.
Per un giocatore come lui, che nell'esplosività/velocità aveva il suo punto di forza, è stata una vera mazzata.
Il tutto sembra sia dovuto ad un problema di postura, come riportato da queste dichiarazioni dello stesso Dyer, che risalgono al 2006:

I had to do the exercises for hours every day. I was a slouch. Now I'll probably sit straight for the rest of my life."
