A quanto pare c'è una nostra vecchia conoscenza che vuole fare la spesa....

Dopo Martz e Bruce.....il pacco completo?

Citing "several NFL sources," Yahoo Sports' Michael Silver reports that the St. Louis Rams are up for sale.
One prospective buyer is Eddie DeBartolo, who could move the club back to California, but says his interest is "slight". The franchise is reportedly being shopped for $850-900 million. The Rams' lease at the Edward Jones Dome ends in 2012. Silver says the Jags are another team that may be up for sale.

proprio stamattina mi sono imbattuto in un paio di articoli di due anni fa di Silver che dicevano la stessa cosa e si parlava addirittura di comprare i cuginetti neroargentati:

Silver è sempre stato molto amico di Eddie e all' epoca oltre a sponsorizzare il suo ritorno nella NFL era molto critico (giustamente) nei confronti dell' attuale proprietà dei Niners. Nella sua personale classifica dei migliori owner li metteva al 28° posto dicendo che senza aprire i cordoni della borsa non si va da nessuna parte.
Per la cronaca ai primi posti c' erano Kraft e J Jones.

Perchè non ti piacerebbe se Eddie comprasse i Rams e, considerando come deve essersi ridotto a Las Vegas tra donne gioco e alcool, dopo un paio di anni li svendesse al cognato che ne farebbe la practice squad dei Niners?

The 49ers did not waste any time making a statement. The club waived undrafted rookie linebacker Ezra Butler upon learning he was arrested over the weekend in Reno.

Butler, whom the 49ers signed as an undrafted free agent, was arrested for DUI drugs and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after a traffic stop in Reno on Saturday night, according to a report in the Reno Gazette-Journal.
