Queste potrebbero essere le squadre interessate a fare una trade con i 49ers (tutte squadre in cerca di un QB e che lo potrebbero trovare alla 29° considerando anche che i Packers alla 30 sono vociferati come possibile squadra che sceglierebbe un QB):

Miami. The Dolphins have big question marks at quarterback and may want to leapfrog the Packers at pick No. 30. After passing on Chris Long at Pick No. 1, they reportedly are interested in another pass rusher, Quentin Groves. The 49ers also are looking at Groves and might be able to squeeze the Dolphins for extra compensation. Miami has two second-round picks, Nos. 32 and 57, and the first pick in the third and fourth rounds.

Atlanta. Lets say the Falcons choose Glenn Dorsey or Chris Long at pick No. 3. They, too, could be looking for the second-best quarterback in the draft and would want to beat out Miami, Green Bay and the rest of the pack for that opportunity. Suddenly you have a bidding war, and suddenly that No. 29 position grows more valuable. The Falcons have a mess of picks to play around with, including three second rounders (Nos. 34, 37 and 48) and two thirds (Nos. 68 and 98 (compensatory)).

Baltimore. A lot of observers see Matt Ryan going to the Ravens. If another team snags Ryan, however, Baltimore will strongly consider whomever they think is second best. The Ravens have two fourth-round picks, nos. 106 and 133, which is a compensatory.

Kansas City. Another team in need of a quarterback. The Jared Allen deal left the Chiefs loaded with draft picks. They have three third rounders (Nos. 66, 73 and 82) and two fifths (136 and 140).

New York Jets. Could stand to draft a quarterback, too. They have two fourths (Nos. 102 and 113).

Da notare che McCoso ha dovuto anche interrompere l'incontro con i giornalisti perché lo avevano chiamata per una trade  , con il fatto che quest'anno i minuti a disposizione sono scesi a 10 ha detto che si sono intensificate di molto le chiamate pre-draft per fare le trade.

Tagliato perché non aveva superati i test fisici (o quelli psicoattitudinali, anche il mio inglese non è granchè :paper:), sta girando la lega cercando qualcuno che gli garantisca il posto da titolare. Finora ha girato a vuoto, visto anche l'età e i recenti infortuni, vediamo se cambia qualcosa per lui dopo il draft.

avevo lasciato un ricordino qui stanotte (alex smith è un crack, io ci credo.) e volevo vedere che si diceva :gazza: per il resto....dei niners non me ne fotte una cippa.

Dunque Kentwan Balmer, DE-DT da North Carolina, e Chilo Rachal, OG da Southern California, sono le nostre scelte in questo primo giorno di draft; a parte l'originalità dei nomi non mi azzardo a fare altri commenti vista la mia ignoranza sul college football, direi solo che Rachal copre un need importante mentre Balmer credo sia stato scelto nell'ottica del BPA. Molti mock lo davano intorno alla 20-22 quindi potrebbe rivelarsi un bel colpo. A proposito di mock credo sia stata una debacle totale per molti analisti ma c'è da dire che le tantissime trade hanno scombinato molto i giochi.
Domani abbiamo altri quattro picks, potebbero essere LB, WR/PR, DB, OT. 'Notte..

EDIT - Sul blog di Maiocco ho trovato quasta cosa su Rachal:

Commento veloce: di Balmer se n'era parlato nei giorni scorsi, e visto che tutti gli OL considerati da primo giro dai niners erano andati via si è pensato, giustamente, di prendere quello che dovrebbe sostituire B.Y., i commenti sono tutti buoni, speriamo bene. Rachal va a coprire un ruolo pericolosamente scoperto dall'incerto futuro di Larry Allen e che ha visto anche il recente infortunio di Baas che lo terrà fuori fino a metà TC, probabilmente uno dei pochi lineman interni su cui puntare in questo draft, alcuni dicono sia colpevolmente passato sotto silenzio, speriamo bene, daltronde McCoso aveva detto che si potevano trovare diversi OT interessanti nei giri intermedi, mentre G e C erano pochi.
Ad un certo punto ero sicuro di una trade down, strano draft in generale comunque...

Con questa scelta si va sul miglior giocatore a disposizione, e non su un need di primo grado (e io che volevo Caldwell...), e si prende il DB Reggie Smith, giocatore versatile (da non sottovalutare il fatto che sia anche ritornatore) che ha avuto il miglior risveglio della sua vita: :D

Mi stavo giusto chiedendo se potesse fare anche il ritornatore, bene così. A 'sto punto mi sa che per il WR si aspetta...l'anno prossimo salvo prendere qualcuno al sesto-settimo giro che nelle mani di Martz diventa il nuovo Holt...

La scelta di Wallace mi piace, forse si poteva prendere anche dopo, ma a me Heitmann non ha mai entusiasmato, inoltre Wallace può giocare anche guardia e può portare da subito concorrenza in un reparto che è stato la nostra croce l'anno scorso. Inoltre pare che questo sia un ragazzo temprato dalle difficoltà fuori dal campo e con una grande forza d'animo:

Wallace has gone through unimaginable hardships growing up. His father reportedly died in prison when Cody was 8 years old. His mother died when he was 16. His only sibling, Marcus, who is 2 1/2 years old than Cody, is currently serving time on felony drug charges. Wallace was raised by his grandparents.

beh...balmer, rachal e smith erano tutti dati in molti mocks come prospetti da tardo primo giro.

Premesso che posso dare solo un giudizio "ad occhio" (o " a cazzo" fate voi...): contento delle scelte di Balmer e dei 2 OL, anche se magari si sarebbe potuto prendere un OT puro, ma quelli che pare volevamo sono stati presi subito prima di noi, Smith può essere un ottima presa specie sul medio periodo, le ultime 2 scelte sono le classiche pescate da ultimi giri, se ti va bene ok, se ti va male....te ne fai una ragione.
Interessante il fatto che Grant ha bloccato 6 punt e 3 calci nella sua carriera universitaria (non solo a Ohio State eh...:D) e che è nato nelle vicinanze e: "I've been a die-hard 49ers fan my whole life." 
Morgan era stato già in visita da noi ma non era stato comunicato, ha avuto un "non piccolo" problema fuori dal campo ed è stato testimone diretto della tragedia nel campus di Virginia Tech.

Lasciando perdere i giudizi su come possa essere considerato questo draft, tanto com'è andato lo potremo vedere solo sul campo, e adesso tutte le scelte (anzi, visti i dirimpettai della baia, quasi tutte.... ) sembrano ottime, dei clamorosi steal, dei giocatori che "non so neanche chi siano ma se l'hanno preso è sicuramente buono"  , mi viene da dire......maleddeti Chiefs: :D

Non seguendo molto il college fb ovviamente non ne conosco neanche uno però mi sembra che abbiano scelto in modo da coprire i buchi nei ruoli giusti, cioè le due linee. Certo se avessimo avuto il settimo pick si poteva tentare di arrivare a Dorsey.
