Alloratutto inizierà al Lincoln il 7 all'1 contro i Saint Louis Rams, un debutto che sulle carta sembra abbastanza abbordabile (lo era anche quello dello scorso anno contro i Packers).

Parlando in generale, la Schedule non mi sembra difficilissima, è vero che incontrnado per 2 volte tutte le squadre della NFC East, già il Calendario diventa duro solo per questo, per il resto tutte le squadre dovrebbero essere sulla carta, alla nostra portata.

In visita ai Philadelphia Eagles il DT dei NY Jets Dewayne Robertson.
Robertson, 4° scelta assoluta del draft 2003 è alla ricerca di una nuova squadra, visto l'arrivo di Kirs Jenkins, e considerato che le sue caratterstiche non si rifanno molto ad una 3-4.
Robertson era vicino ai Broncos che offrivano una 6° scelta, ma ecco che gli Eagles, si sono interessati al giocatore per migliorare la rotazione dei DT che già può far affidamento su Patterson, Bunkley, Reagor e Ramsey. Robertston è stato al Nova Care Complex, sembra vicino alla trade che lo porterà a Philadelphia, certo è che qualcosa di più la si saprà nei prossimi giorni.

Mike Quick says he thinks the Birds are going to make a major move at the wide receiver position.  He talked about Roy Williams and the potential that the Eagles will make a deal to acquire a wide receiver.  He says there will be news on Roy Williams before the week is out. 

That means the Cowboys, Redskins or the Eagles will probably wind up with the receiver before the week is out.

Mike just finished doing a live interview in a webcast with G. Cobb and Steve Martorano from Infiniti of Westchester and he says the Birds will try to do something this week.  They're in a bidding a war right now.,

Avevo letto, i Lions però hanno nuovamente smentito che cederanno Williams.
Tra l'altro anche i Bengals lo hanno fatto con Chad Johnson.
A me sembrano un po dichiarazioni di facciata, Roy entra nel suo ultimo anno di contratto e senza rinnovare il contratto a mio avviso lo vorranno cedere invece di perderlo come FA il prossimo anno, mentre i Bengals se hanno un minimo di cervello devono disfarmi di Chad Johnson ora prima che prima gli spacchi lo spogliatoio, e dopo saranno costretti a tagliarlo. Ma dubito abbiano cotanta astuzia dato che hanno tagliato Henry solo dopo il miliardesimo arresto..

Bene, e le nostre 2 scelte del 2° giro sono Trevor Laws, ciccionissimo proveniente di Notre Dame, che non ho idea chi sia tranne che sia ciccione, e che porti i dred.
Con l'altra scelta prendiamo il WR DeSean Jackson. Arriva un WR, vero , ma con le stesse identiche caratteristiche di quelli che già avevamo, e cioè la velocità, Jackson però è anche un grandissimo ritornatore, e finalmente Philadelphia ricopre il Need del ritornatore che tanto aveva fatto penare noi tifosi in questi anni. Forse l'era Mahe è finita

Alla fine comunque vanno fatti i complimenti a Philadelphia per il bel lavoro svolto eh.
Nonostante tutto, hanno preso al 2° giro il giocatore che forse più volevano, e cioè DeSean Jackson, WR a detta di molti dalle grandissime potenzialità che sarà sicuramente uno starter per lungo periodo, e ottimo ritornatore. Inoltre Philadelphia ha ceduto la 1° scelta di quest'anno per la 1° 2009 di Carolina (la speranza è che sia una buona scelta, poi si vedrà).
In parole povere Phila prende il giocatore che voleva, e si ritrova con 2 prime 2009...beh

Abbiamo preso anche il RB Lorenzo Booker, 3° scelta 2007 dei Dolphins in cambio di una 4° scelta. Booker darà una mano a Westbrook e a Buckhalter.


Domani inizia il 3° giro del draft, speriamo di prende o un LB (ne sono rimasti parecchi tra i quali anche Connor) o la Safety Dajuan Morgan.
