Ieri per vedere la partita ho fatto le prove l'unica che mi soddisfa e con VLC impostando il 4:3 rimangono solo le due fasce ai lati mentre in altezza va a tutto schermo, non è una soluzione ma è stato l'unico modo decente. Il Citizen è già minuscolo ancora visto in quel quadratino ad ogni fly ball stringevo le chiappe. (essendo finita con 11 punti presi potete capire che glutei sodi mi possa trovare oggi.)

Qualche miglioramento c'è stato... Le partite singole si vedevano bene anche a 1.2 (a parte le bande), il mosaic ha funzionato bene dalle 5 alle 7 poi sono tornati i soliti problemi di login, ma qualche passo in avanti lo hanno fatto...
Sul blog dicono:

Ho notato anche un'altra cosa rispetto all'anno scorso... nelle partite archiviate non è piu possibile cliccare sull'inning (nel boxscore in alto a destra) per passare direttamente a quello... sarebbe stato un metodo "artigianale" per sopperire alla mancanza dei condensed....

Posto qualcosa preso dal forum ufficiale:


1. 16x9 streams for every game with no ability to crop/resize for full screen on my 4x3 display. Yesterday, I was able to do this by running the stream through VLC after getting the 800k link from WMP (not on Mosaic), but today they apparently added a new layer of security that prevents anyone from running the feed through an external media player such as VLC.

3. Absolutely awful framerates from Silverlight. A secondary concern for Silverlight is that 16x9 feeds are placed at the top of 4x3 displays with all the black space at the bottom, rather than in the center, which is how every other application I have ever seen renders 16x9 video on a 4x3 screen. Again, no ability to crop/resize the 16x9 stream for a 4x3 screen. The ideal solution is to send out 16x9 broadcasts in a 16x9 stream and 4x3 broadcasts in a 4x3 stream. That said, I do plan to upgrade to a widescreen monitor some point in the next couple of months, but I would appreciate this flexibility for now and for my laptop as well.


This is my 3rd year with MLB.TV and my patience is now wearing thin. I don't really care about the Mosaic but when the premium advertises 1.2M quality, gives you a preview of it (in the good old Windows Media Player, not this Silverlight POS) I expect it by opening day. I was able to watch the Sox/A's full screen last week, now I can't get jack in full screen. At least MLB Extra Innings has a free preview and my trusty XM still works. But this is awful and MLB has until the end of the week before I cancel my MLB subscription.

You must not have used MLB TV in previous years? Give it a week and everything will all the sudden start working. The first week should be free of charge, because it never works right.

Unfortunately, I get the multiple login issue off of the homw page also.
This years launch is much worse than the previous two years. It's getting rediculous.
Any chance of them just removing the multiple login restriction until they get everything sorted out?

Infatti tutte le risposte ufficiali sono sempre e solo sul problema del login.
Però sarebbe importante scrivere sul forum ufficiale e chiedere a gran voce tutti insieme.

Il brutto è che quella frase è postata da un cliente incazzato e non da loro, però sembrerebbero solo 2 per ora le squadre che vanno in 16:9 quindi non capisco la mossa è da pazzi!

dal momento che tra gli sponsor c'è il televisore ufficiale della MLB - uno Sharp 16:9 - è da pazzi che pensare che faccia parte del contratto pubblicitario?

There is no fix, as this is intended behavior. Some games are 4x3 and that is how they look on a wide screen monitor in order to keep the aspect ratio. Other games are 16x9 and they wont have the black bars on the side.

sì, anche nelle FAQ dove ieri era dichiarato Known issue

solo una montagna di proteste farà cambiare le cose
e il mio sospetto che c'entri il contratto con Sharp si fa sempre più forte

allora niente condensed e niente highlights, c'è ancora il fastcast che secondo me non è molto utile visto che è troppo "fast", c'è però il daily rewind game recap che è praticamente un misto di tutto quello che c'era prima,alcuni incontri hanno un recap di 4 min altri di 50 secondi , insomma non si capisce ancora una mazza...

non mi sembra ci voglia molto a montare il condended, sono tutti gli out con commento originale e senza nessuna aggiunta o sovraincisione se non quella degli inning.

a manate come bud spencer, altro che mail di proteste.

che banda ci vuole per mandare una manata?
ci vuole il silverlight per riceverla?
se si usa il vecchio media player, la si riceverà meno forte?
