A dire il vero non mi pare abbia ancora firmato per NE... invece ci sono voci che si sia sentito telefonicamente con Culpepper per decidere una squadra dove andare a giocare assieme... forse Coach intendeva questo...

Andato definitivamente Moss, rimasto a New Englad, ritorna in auge una voce che circolava un paio di mesi fa, e cioè Larry Fitzgerald, che ancora non ha rinnovato il suo contratto con i Cards.
Mentre gli Eagles sembra abbiano negato l'interesse a Javon Walker...

Allora, tutto ciò che riporterò, è sempre fonte di un forum che riporta notizie ascoltate alla Radio Americana.
Allora, gli Eagles stanno trattando con i Cards, che NON RINNOVERANNO il contratto a Larry Fitzgerald.
L'offerta degli Eagles è Lito Sheppard+1° scelta che attualmente è stata rifiutata dai Cards che chiedono o prima e 2° + Lito o 1°+Lito+Winston Justice.
Gli Eagles stanno trattando..
Mentre Ray Didinger on 610 WIP riporta che i Lions vogliono Lito+1° per Roy Williams. Se non dovesse arrivare nessuno dei 2, gli Eagles andrebbero su DJ Hackett (SPERIAMO DI NO :gazza:).

Reid Couldn't Talk Moss Away From Pats       

Andy Reid was on the telephone this afternoon for over an hour with Randy Moss but he wasn't able to talk him into turning down a 3 year $27 million deal with Patriots.  Moss decided to stay put where he is with the Patriots.  Reid and the Eagles weren't willing to better the offer from the Pats.

Moss got the offer from the Patriots this weekend, but didn't immediately sign the deal because he wanted to see if other teams were willing to better the offer.  The Eagles were one of the teams Moss was interested in playing for, so they got in touch with Andy Reid and wanted know if he was willing to better the deal.

Obviously, Andy and the Eagles were not willing to make a better offer so Randy Moss stays put with the New England Patriots.

So the Eagles must continue their search for a true number one wide receiver.  If they had signed Moss they would have acquired the best deep receiver in all of the NFL.  Moss broke the NFL record last year for most TD receptions.

The Birds can't say they didn't have a chance because Moss and his agent got Andy Reid and the Eagles on the phone and talked for what I understand, nearly two hours.  I'm going to try to find out exactly what was discussed other than the contract.

Alla fine Moss ha comunque scelto i Patriots...dichiarando di preferire di restare nel New England, per i tifosi e via dicendo.

Randy Moss on Monday re-signed with the Patriots for three years and $27 million. The deal includes a $12 million signing bonus and a total of $15 million guaranteed.

But Monday on Daily News Live, former Eagles linebacker Garry Cobb reported – and a source close to the situation subsequently confirmed to Comcast SportsNet – that the Eagles had topped the Patriots’ offer.

Moss’ agent Tom DiPiero would not confirm the Eagles’ involvement.

Moss posted the following message on his Web site, TheRealRandyMoss.com:

“I want to take time out to thank all of the fans for their support and for wishing me well in my return to New England. I’m ready to get back. We have some unfinished business to take care of.” In his first season with New England – and Tom Brady – Moss had 98 receptions for 1,493 yards and an NFL record 23 touchdowns.

Peccato, ora gli Eagles stanno intensificando la discussione con i Cards, ho parlato nel sito di Cobb appunto con Cobb nella Live Chat, e diceva che le trattative sono intensificate, anche se la trade non è ne imminente, ne morta.

Questa cosa mi fa piacere, oltre per il fatto che hanno tenuto un giocatore fondamentale per NE, anche perchè vuol dire che l'organizzazione dei Pats è buona e giocatori come Moss che spesso hanno guardato solo ai soldini se ne affezionano veramente.
