Buona la firma di Brown, vuol dire che han capito come far ruotare sulla linea... almeno lì.

Spiace per Moose, tre anni con un QB di peso e avrebbe passato da un pezzo le 10000 in carriera. Ormai è vecchio, non ha più lo scatto sul breve, anche se a far le tracce rimane un fenomeno. Avremo tempo per parlarne in futuro.

Problema: senza WR veterani i Bears non staranno, l'addio a Moose serve per il ritorno di (ta - daaaam!) Marty Booker.

Bears released Muhsin Muhammad.
Moose would have been cheap to retain, but he was taking playing time from younger options and is on the decline after catching only 40 passes in 2007. The Bears are now likely to make a splash at receiver in free agency, even if it's just to retain Bernard Berrian. Muhammad could catch on elsewhere as a slot receiver, possibly in Carolina. Nel frattempo i Bears hanno offerto il rinnovo del contratto a Bernard Berrian, a Tommie Harris e a Lance Briggs.

L'Agente di Zach Thomas ha dichiarato che il suo assistitito è alla ricerca di un multi-year deal che includa un garantito di salario. Insomma, per aver 34 anni Thomas un po pretenzioso. Ma è Rosenhauses per caso l'agente di Thomas?

Oltre a Dallas Clark, un altro pezzo pregiato rimane nel proprio team come Franchise Tag: Jordan Gross, OT dei Carolina Panthers.

Invece Derek Anderson, rimane si nella sua squadra e cioè con i Cleveland Browns, ma con un estensione di contratto, triennale.

Uno che potrebbe cambiare squadra è invece DeAngelo Hall: sta entrando nel suo ultimo anno di contratto, e se i Falcons non dovessero accordarsi per l'estensione lo cederanno. (magari proprio scambio con Sheppard degli Eagles

)!

Free agent Alge Crumpler would prefer to stay in the NFC South, according to ESPN's John Clayton.
The Saints need tight end help most in the division, though the Bucs use two TE sets often and have shown the strongest initial interest. Carolina probably won't go overboard spending on Crumpler, 30, with Jeff King, 25, on the rise.
