Green è finito da almeno due anni.

A questo punto mi pare inevitabile pensare che Parcells (che sta facendo una strage) scambierà la sua prima scelta del prossimo draft con tre o quattro scelte più basse. C'è da rifare mezza squadra......

i panthers tra gli altri hanno tagliato la guardia mike wahle (ex green bay) e il mlb dan morgan, un grande ma troppo injury prone.

Fitzgerald in trade....in Arizona vogliono lanciare Breaston?? Se davvero vuole andare via dai Cards sarebbe bello riportarlo a casa, il ragazzotto da Minneapolis....

Dan Morgan è un vero peccato sia sempre rotto, questo è uno dei migliori MLB della NFL...se non avesse avuto tutti 'sti infortuni parleremmo di un grande....

In piu' hanno Beason che, imo, è molto piu' forte di Morgan.

According to a report on the web site for Sports Illustrated, there is growing speculation the Giants may move TE Jeremy Shockey in a trade during the offseason. League sources cited Eli Manning's improved play with Shockey out of the lineup and Kevin Boss's emergence during the playoffs as top reasons for the Giants potentially shopping their four-time Pro Bowl tight end. The report said Shockey would likely command a second-round pick from a team seeking his services. And that may be enticing enough for the Giants to pull the trigger on the deal.

Io rimamgo allibito a leggere ste cose, e poi guarda la situazione salariale dei Redskins.

Più o meno come gli altri anni...ma sono sempre tra i più attivi in free agency :finanzacreativa:

Un esempio di finanza creativa che non conoscevo: il cosiddetto "LTBE"

"Any incentive added to a contract after the start of the regular season is considered "Likely To Be Earned" and immediately counts against the cap.

So teams with leftover cap room near the end of the season can give a player an unreachable incentive, and the amount of the incentive counts against the cap (thereby using up the leftover cap room).

At the end of the year, that incentive obviously was never earned. By rule, because it counted against the cap and was never paid, it gets credited to the team's cap the next season. So if a team used a $5 million incentive to exploit the loophole, its cap in 2007 could be $114 million instead of $109 million. In essence, it allows you to push your unused cap room forward to the next season."
