Una notizia che rigurda piùche altro la off season dell'anno prossimo: ancora non è ufficiale ma sembra Jim Mora sia stato designato successore di Holmgren a Seattle al termine della stagione 2008.

So che la fonte non è attendibile, ma lo posto lo stesso:

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Ravens will place the franchise tag on prospective free agent DE Terrell Suggs.
Schefter also says that Nnamdi Asomugha will get the tag from the Raiders, which is hardly a surprise. Others who could be franchise tendered as early as today: Chiefs DE Jared Allen, Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby, and Titans DT Albert Haynesworth. Other possibilities closer to the Feb. 21 deadline: Randy Moss, Dallas Clark, Jordan Gross, and Bernard Berrian.

bè una notizia del giorno è che il proprietario della squadra di hockey dei Sabres è interessato all'acquisizione dei Buffalo Bills

questa è l'unica news degna di nota...
per i fans dei Phins (tra cui io) da segnalare l'acuisizione del CB thomas scelto nel 2004 dai Packers? (confermatemi plz) che probabilmente giocherà quasi esclusivamente negli Special teams...

Beh, qualcosa si è mossa: iniziano i tagliati ed i Dolphins ne tagliano addirittura 9, e nei 9 ci sono anche Trent Green, Marty Booker e Keith Taylor.
Ecco la notizia:

The Dolphins released nine players Monday, including Trent Green, Marty Booker, and DT Keith Traylor.

The new sheriffs in town (Bill Parcells and GM Jeff Ireland) aren't wasting any time. Green hopes to play football again, but hasn't received medical clearance. He could resurface in Baltimore or St. Louis as a backup. Booker is still a solid pro; he was just overpaid. Other released 'Phins include T L.J. Shelton, T Anthony Alabi, T Joe Toledo, T Marion Dukes, and DT Marquay Love.
