Beh oddio, Clifford non è propriamente una top-reserve anche se è backup di MJ. Chewka partirà titolare, contro Purdue ha fatto una grandissima partita speriamo possa ripetersi contro Doucet e Byrd.
EDIT: squalificato solo Clifford, D-Wash sarà regolarmente in campo. :hehe:

Cincinnati si sbarazza di Southern Miss che vince il Bowl e chiude una sorprendente stagione con 10 vittorie e sole 3 sconfitte (seconda stagione da 10 W dal 1951 ad oggi). Mauk lancia 4 TD (con però 3 intercetti).
New Mexico distrugge Nevada, 23-0.
Infine BYU batte UCLA 17-16 bloccando il FG all'ultimo secondo (dopo un drive da 87 yds negli ultimi due minuti) che avrebbe potuto dare la vittoria ai Bruins. MVP della partita il kicker di BYU che ha giocato, offensivamente, una delle peggiori partite dell'anno (season low di 265 yds di total offense).
Questa sera in programma lo Sheraton Hawaii tra Boise State e East Carolina.

Divertente e da conservare il bowl tra Purdue e Central Michigan che ha visto i Boliermakers portarsi a casa il Motor City Bowl. CM sembrava tagliata fuori quando nel 3° quarto ha messo la quinta e grazie anche a un fumble di Sheets ha riaperto la gara dopo che nel primo tempo Curtis Painter si era fermato a 339 yard lanciate.
Il 51-48 finale è frutto di un field goal a tempo scaduto, Painter ha raggiunto alla fine 546 yard, quarto miglior risultato in un bowl (leggo ora dietro a Ty Detmer, Byron Leftwich e Colt Brennan) e la partita è di quelle tipiche collegiali, piena di gran numeri e molto tirata da trattenere lo spettatore incollato al video. Divertente.
