Finiti ora di vedere la partita e su DJax c'è da dire ben poco sembra che non abbia voglia di giocare droppa palloni con una facilità incredibile.La OL finalmente protegge sufficentemente Dilfer ma non crea spazi per le corse.

Ti dirò, io un po' comincio a rimpiangerlo pensando ai fenomeni che abbiamo avuto come WR in questi anni: Wilson, Lloyd, Woods (:incazzato:), Conway, Bryant, Gilmore, Jackson e qualche altro che ora mi sfugge (o ho rimosso...). L'unico decente è stato Battle che pero come ha già detto qualcuno (multiple?) quando ha un uomo vicino non fa una ricezione che sia una.
Poi vabbè, in questa situazione rimpiangerei anche mia nonna.

The word is official from the 49ers: Ted Tollner has been hired as an offensive assistant. He will help the entire coaching staff, a team spokesman said. Obviously, with his experience as an offensive coordinator he'll lend a lot of assistance to Jim Hostler.

Also, a source close to Alex Smith confirms a report an ESPN.com that Dr. James Andrews told Smith today that his shoulder and forearm are "worse than anticipated." There was some talk that surgery might be needed to correct the problem if his shoulder and forearm don't show improvement. Smith might seek yet another opinion from a specialist.

The 49ers did not comment on this report because their doctors have not received the report yet from Dr. Andrews, a team spokesman said.

Qualche infortunio e poco coinvolgimento nell'attacco (che hanno portato a critiche nei confronti dell'OC e forse hanno contribuito all'assunzione del nuovo Offensive Assistant) hanno limitato il suo impiego e le sue ricezioni.
IMHO: Il miglior giocatore d'attacco di SF, a meno che non lo mettano a bloccare per tutta la partita!

In realtà credo si tratti di ogni pallone considerato ricevibile, quindi non sempre viene considerato drop solo quello che arriva tra i numeri. Anche un over the shoulder che ti cade in mano e non lo tieni stretto è un drop da quel che so...

Intanto Denise DeBartolo, coproprietaria della franchigia e sorella del grande Eddie D, pur ribedendo la sua fiducia in Nolan, si è detta shockata dallo stato della squadra; a fine stagione si prospetta per lui come minimo una netta riduzione dei suoi poteri col probabile arrivo di un vero GM ma crescono anche i rumors sull'arrivo di Holmgren nel doppio ruolo di HC e GM.
