Prima la trade che ha portato Bennett dai Chiefs ai Bucs, ora questa che porta Chambers dai Dolphins a San Diego...deadline schioppetante quest' anno

ps. riguardo ai Chiefs si vocifera anche di un possibile ritorno in campo di Priest, a parte il fatto che sarà la 200esima volta che si legge qualcosa del genere, se hanno tradato il back up di Larry Johnson, forse stavolta qualcosa di vero c' è?

Running back Priest Holmes will practice Wednesday for the first time since a severe 2005 head and neck injury. Chiefs coach Herm Edwards repeated Tuesday there's a chance Holmes could play at Oakland. The injury-depleted Cardinals signed free-agent quarterback Tim Hasselbeck on Tuesday. Hasselbeck's signing came two days after starter Kurt Warner hurt his elbow in a 25-10 loss to Carolina. Warner had replaced Matt Leinart, who was lost for the season with a broken collarbone one week earlier. Hasselbeck will back up Tim Rattay, who starts Sunday at Washington. The Cardinals have not said when they expect Warner to return. The club released defensive end Quentin Moses to make room for Hasselbeck on the roster.

Kevin Everett has developed enough strength to hold himself up briefly on a walker, and he can also use his feet to push himself around in a wheelchair, the latest signs of progress as the Bills' tight end recovers from a severe spinal cord injury. Tornando un attimo sulla trade di Chambers, ora presumo (per la gioia di JC :D ) che Ginn Jr. avrà un pò più di spazio non solo nei ritorni ma anche come WR vero e proprio, già domenica ho visto dagli highlights ha fatto una bella ricezione, questa trade probabilmente è proprio in quest' ottica.

non si sa ancora se questo sia dovuto a una pessima attitudine al lavoro, a problemi caratteriali, broccaggine o altro... sarei curioso di saperlo

Se Chambers viene recuperato a certi livelli San Diego ha fatto un bel colpo....se invece il WR è quello visto gli ultimi 2 anni a Miami, allora mi sa che han fatto un mezzo buco nell'acqua....sulla carta rimane buono adesso il campo ci dirà se è così o meno...

Intanto sono contento per Bennett, con i Viks ha avuto poca fortuna perchè si rompeva con facilità, poi è esploso Onterrio Smith e gli ha messo un po' i bastoni tra le ruote....comunque quando ha giocato è stato sempre molto positivo, un bell' in bocca al lupo per la sua nuova avventura con i Bucs non glielo leva nessuno... :D

Sicuramente avrà spazio, come ritornatore si è già dimostrato un possibile crack, come ricevitore bisogna vedere, ha velocità, ma rischia di fossilizzarsi in un solo movimento.

Comunque la trade di Chambers non è malaccio per i Dolphins. 2° pick 2008 per un veterano di 8 stagioni è un bel pescare, tra l'altro Chambers negli ultimi 2 anni ha dimostrato tutto, meno che valere una scelta cosi' alta.

Riguardo a Chambers va comunque detto che negli ultimi 2 anni ha giocato in una situazione piuttosto ridicola, dove a lanciargli palloni c' erano ciccio formaggio, ciccio pasticcio e la banda dei disperati e la squadra non aveva propriamente ambizioni...fatte le debite proporzioni, FATTE LE DEBITE PROPORZIONI anche moss a oakland era una sega, ormai persa..e ora a NE è il miglior WR della lega. Detto questo apprendo dal post di teo che in cambio i pesci della florida han preso una scelta da secondo giro, beh questo è sicuramente un discreto affare, buona trade per entrambi imho

Ma San Diego non ha intenzione di sistemare la difesa? Senza Edwards e Godfrey nel mezzo della 3-4 son peggiorati e i DB continuano a rimanere mediocri. Ho visto contro Oakland che si sono addormentati per buona parte della partita, soprattutto nel finale del primo tempo e il big play per Curry...

Secondo me sta squadra va ai playoff per la mediocrità della division ma il risultato rimarrà lo stesso dei playoff di Marty.
