In genere è una strategia rischiosa contro di noi proprio per la capacità di lettura che ha Bulger anche sotto pressione (domenica ha fatto un paio di magie alla Favre degne di nota). Ma con la OL decimata dagli infortuni e i continui cambi di posizione (Barron a sx ecc, è uscita una stat durante la partita: Bulger ha avuto di fronte a sé negli ultimi 3 anni, mi pare, più di 20 OL diverse...impressionante), entravate da qualsiasi parte. Bulger è stato colpito un'infinità di volte, con i problemi alla spalla che si ritrova, non arriva a metà stagione...

Non vorrei sbagliarmi, ma mi erano sembrate 32 OL diverse!

The San Francisco 49ers suffered their first major injury blow of the season Thursday when they learned linebacker Manny Lawson was lost for the season because of a torn ACL.

Lawson suffered the knee injury late in practice Wednesday and a subsequent MRI revaled the tear. He will require season-ending surgery and will eventually be placed on the injured reserve list.

"I heard a pop, and I remember what (teammate) C.J. Brewer had talked about when he (injured his knee), so I was nervous," Lawson told the team's Web site. "I tried to test it out, but really I just had to wait for the MRI."

Nate Clements was named the GMC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Rams. He beat out Lance Briggs, Roosevelt Colvin, Darren Sharper and Bob Sanders.


The NFL has a new sack leader, and his name is Bryant Young. The veteran defensive end on Thursday was credited with a sack in the first quarter or Sunday's game that originally was awarded to Lawson. That gave Young three sacks on the game and four on the season, which is a half sack more than Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel. Young has had a three-sack game three times in his career. All of them have come against the Rams.

Si, una roba del genere. Assurdo.

Cmq non c'è da allarmarsi, è il primo infortunio serio che capita a un vostro starter, doveva accadere prima o poi. Ciò non toglie come questo sia il vostro anno. Tra l'altro ha anche un valido sostituto che lo scorso anno ha fatto molto bene.

Mi sono rifatto anch'io gli occhi, anche se il vestitino un po' stonava...meglio senza.
