Re: NFL Season 2K7
"There's not that many African-American quarterbacks, so we have to do a little bit extra," McNabb tells HBO. "Because the percentage of us playing this position, which people didn't want us to play ... is low, so we do a little extra."
"I pass for 300 yards, our team wins by seven, [mimicking] 'Ah, he could've made this throw, they would have scored if he did this,' " McNabb tells HBO.
"Doesn't every quarterback go through that?" Brown asks.
"Not everybody," McNabb replies.
Brown then asks if the media is tougher on him than on white quarterbacks such as Carson Palmer and Peyton Manning.
"Let me start by saying I love those guys," McNabb tells HBO. "But they don't get criticized as much as we do. They don't."

Ufficiale, Leftwich ad Atlanta. Contratto biennale da 7 milioni di $$$.
ATLANTA -- Out of work for the past two weeks, former Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Byron Leftwich found a new home Tuesday, signing a two-year, $7 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
The fifth-year veteran, released by the Jaguars just before the start of the season, when coach Jack Del Rio abruptly decided to elevate David Garrard into the starting role, met with Atlanta officials, including owner Arthur Blank, on Monday evening. He then took a physical exam Tuesday morning, worked out for coaches and personnel officials, and entered into negotiations.

Stat of the Week No. 3: Stretching back to last season, New Orleans has lost five of seven. In its past three games, New Orleans has been outscored 38-113.
Stat of the Week No. 4: Stretching back to last season, the Giants have lost nine of their last 11.
Stat of the Week No. 5: There were 11 touchdown passes in the Cincinnati-Cleveland game.
Stat of the Week No. 6: There were 10 turnovers in the Detroit-Minnesota game.
Stat of the Week No. 7: Running plays on second-and-1, second-and-1, second-and-2, third-and-1, third-and-2, fourth-and-2 and fourth-and-2, the Bills gained a combined zero yards.
Stat of the Week No. 8: Atlanta, which averaged 2 sacks allowed per game last season with Michael Vick at quarterback, has allowed 13 sacks in its first two games.
Stat of the Week No. 9: Cincinnati gained 531 yards, scored 45 points – and lost.

Re: NFL Season 2K7
I Cowboys mettono sotto contratto il carroarmato....
Cowboys sign former Bear Tank Johnson
NFL.com Wire Reports
IRVING, Texas -- Suspended defensive tackle Tank Johnson signed a two-year contract Tuesday with the Dallas Cowboys.
The NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Johnson's deal is a two-year contract with various incentives that could boost the value of the deal to up to $1.5 million.
Johnson, who played the last three seasons for the Chicago Bears, can't play for the Cowboys until he completes his eight-game NFL suspension for violating probation on a gun charge. He has served the first two games of that suspension.
Johnson signed after visiting with the Cowboys and taking a physical.
"For a lot of reasons, he really just felt the Cowboys were the right fit," said Johnson's agent, Jerrold Colton. "He's so thankful to them for giving him this opportunity. He is very determined to prove they made a wise decision in believing in him."
Johnson could provide late-season depth on a defensive line that lost starting nose tackle Jason Ferguson for the year because of a torn right biceps in the opener.
Jay Ratliff, a third-year player, replaced Ferguson as the starting nose tackle. Ratliff has five tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery for the Cowboys (2-0).
Although Johnson can't work out with the team until his suspension ends, the team must make room for him on the 53-man roster.
The Bears released Johnson on June 25, three days after he was pulled over by police in Arizona. He already had served a two-month jail term for the gun charge and been suspended by the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
Police in Gilbert, Ariz., closed the June case without charging Johnson, who was stopped for speeding. His blood alcohol level was .072, under the presumptive limit for DUI.

Join the third.
This is unbelievably believable.
