Danny Granger spoke about Indiana's plans to make more trades this offseason.

"We're not done yet," Granger said Saturday. "I talked to management, and we're not done yet. What will happen, I don't know yet. We're still mulling over it. But we got a few things still up our sleeve."

The Pacers now have a void at power forward following the trade of Troy Murphy.

"We're going to have to go after another big, I'm sure," said the 6-foot-8 Granger. "Losing Troy, he was great. I can play the (power forward) but I'm not a true (power forward). So we're definitely going to have to add another big, and I think that will be our main focus."

Ad Est quasi tutti possono lottare per gli ultimi 2 posti, che io al momento assegno ai Knicks e ai Bobcats. Ci può scappare la sorpresa e potremmo essere noi come potrebbero essere i Wizards o i Sxers, di sicuro lotteremo fino alla fine visto che non esiste la parola tanking ad Indianapolis...
Come hai detto tu, il reparto lunghi non è eccezionale (eufemismo...) per questo se ci sarà possibilità proveremo a muovere un 2-3 per un lungo ma con un occhio sempre allo spazio salariale per la prossima estate...

Anche perchè ai giovani farebbe bene un pò di off season farebbe bene. Comunque sotto canestro Hibbert deve migliorare, non l'ho visto molto a dire il vero lo scorso anno ma la sua media rimbalzi non è eccelsa probabilmente dovuta al fisico.

Lance Stephenson was charged with pushing his girlfriend down a flight of stairs, police said.

Stephenson roughed up Jasmine Williams, 21, in the stairwell of her Brooklyn apartment building at about 5 a.m., according to police.

Stephenson's blows sent Williams tumbling head-first down 10 steps, requiring her to be treated at a hospital for injuries to her head and neck, cops said.

Stephenson was charged with third-degree assault. He was awaiting arraignment on Saturday night.

Granger ha accennato di aver parlato con la dirigenza che gli ha detto che non sono finiti i movimenti sul mercato e che starebbe arrivando un altro giocatore, uno importante, probabilmente per sostituire Murphy.
Il solo Hibbert sotto canestro è troppo poco per puntare ai PO, Foster ormai non si regge più in piedi, Hansbrough è interessante ma tutto da verificare se è recuperato, Solomon Jones è atletico ma non è affidabile per tanti minuti.
Il nome più gettonato è quello di Mike Dunleavy, utile merce di scambio visti i 10 mln che libera il prossimo giugno, ma trovare ora un lungo sul mercato non è facile.

In effetti ad oggi siamo decisamente sbilanciati come squadra, troppo soft e carenti tecnicamente sotto canestro.
Lo eravamo anche prima, figuriamoci ora che abbiamo perso il miglior lungo che avavamo (anche se ovviamente sono strafelice dello scambio che abbiamo fatto).
Probabilmente la dirigenza punterà a liberarsi di questi 3 giocatori: TJ Ford, Dunleavy e Posey.
Per il primo mi pare si stesse parlando di buyout, il secondo invece è ormai inutile ma può essere appetibile poichè in scedenza, Posey invece potrebbe essere sacrificato perchè in ala piccola siamo coperti con Granger e George.
Per quanto riguarda il lungo, mi piacerebbe molto Brandon Bass da Orlando o Maxiell da Detroit, dite che sarebbe fattibile come cosa?

Beh secondo me lo scambio Dunleavy-Bass sarebbe un buon affare er entrambe le squadre ma non so se a livello salariale i conti tornerebbero.

Effettivamente Bass prende sui 4M, con Dunleavy è praticamente impossibile, a meno che non fai un Carter+Bass per Posey+Dunleavy, ma questa è pura fantascienza.
Ad ogni modo, la priorità è prendere un benedetto lungo senza dover sacrificare pedine importanti.
Anche la Medusa di Cleveland come degno erede di Foster non mi spiacerebbe affatto.
