Mi sembra che non siano presenti stat doppie e che ciascuna di queste (eccetto W e L e S) possano essere attribuite al giocatore direttamente... Poi sono 21... 11 + 10...

è vero. A e PO possiamo evitarli. mi ricordo che l'anno scorso avevo puntato su A come statistica e come dh sceglievo prevalentemente 2B e SS per avere più A. (che non ha molto senso)

invece continuo ad essere d'accordo per usare gli E. l'anno scorso mi mancavano un pò.. nel baseball c'è anche la difesa!!!

a yahoo bisogna dare degli SLOT. quindi dario faresti così?

Giusto per commentare: non vorrei usare le statistiche percentuali per i fielder, a meno che non si scelga il lineup settimanale, perchè si giocherebbe con meno giocatori per non abbassarle... inoltre usarle entrambe porta a misurare due volte la stessa cosa...

Identico ragionamento tra H e le singole stat 1B, 2B, 3B, HR... c'è duplicazione di conteggio...

Runs Scored... non mi piace come stat perchè non dipende dal giocatore...

Errors... secondo me, una stat difensiva ci vuole...

CG... troppo pochi in un anno perchè abbia senso usarla... un po' come per i Balk...

Se si usa WHIP, non servono H e BB per i pitcher...

Hold sono essenziali altrimenti i rilievi non verrebbero comprati...

Ovviamente sono solo mie idee... spero nessuno si incavoli...

io non sono d'accordo per il lineup settimanale, neanche per la rotazione, la rotazione è una regola non scritta, quindi io non posso prevedere cosa gira nella testa del manager.
Per le stats io metterei anche qualcuna difensiva, perché bisogna penalizzare un difensore?

Premesso che in qualsiasi caso le statistiche che verranno scelte dalla maggioranza mi andranno benissimo,
vado a elencarvi le mie elucubrazioni mentali...

Ho messo 17 stats (alla faccio della scaramanzia! del resto sono il co-owner dei Black Cats...) per avere
dei risultati numerici più simili alla realtà... Provo a farmi capire: con 21 stats si rischierebbe di avere troppi 11-10
piuttosto che che 16 a 4 che nella realtà non capitano poi così di frequente... Con 17 stats e considerando che spesso
ce ne saranno alcune in parità dovrebbero scaturire dei risultati finali più ordinari... Ma questo è solo un mio parere!

Veniamo alla scelta delle stats... Ho messo 8 batting + 8 pitching + 1 difensiva (E) che può senz altro starci bene!
Per il Batting oltre alle classiche in percentuale AVG,OBP e SLG e alle imprescindibili H,HR.RBI e SB ho inserito gli SO subiti
che secondo me è interessante!
Per il Pitching direi imprescindibili ERA,WHIP,W,L,S,HLD (indispensabile per valorizzare anche i RP non closer) e SO.
Dulcis in fundo ho messo anche gli IP visto che sono così importanti da meritarsi una discussione sul numero minimo
perchè non premiare chi ne ha di più? Alla fine un grande SP deve garantire un numero sostanzioso di IP
per essere tale... Ma anche Rilievi e Closer più IP danno meglio è... Inoltre,indirettamente, tanti IP sono anche segno
che le prestazioni sono soddisfacenti da parte del lanciatore,perchè se gioca male il manager non lo lascia mica in campo a lungo!
Lo so che sto dicendo delle cose strarisapute e banali  ma lo faccio perchè vedo che molti non hanno invece messo
gli IP tra le statistiche preferite e quindi voglio perorare la mia causa PRO IP perchè sia utilizzata come STAT!!!!!


Dai perdonatemi...alla fine un pò di teatro ogni tanto non guasta!

Un paio di benevole considerazioni:
- se mettiamo HR, allora perchè togliere 2B e 3B? (ps. è ben più difficile fare un 3B che un HR!)
- le walks come stats di attacco sono fighe!
- la stat IP può esser abusata (io per primo l'ho fatto l'anno scorso). quando verso fine settimana stai perdendo le stat percentuali, ti butti tutto sulle stat numeriche, per recuperare un pò.
- CG è una stat che ci va. un evento eccezionale che va certamente premiato. già un pò meno uno SHO.. (ma lo SHO viene assegnato solo al partente?)

Dunque, cerchiamo di evidenziare tutti i double-counting.

Cominciamo dal batting.
Un singolo entra in
Batting Average
SLG
OBP
OPS
Hits
Total Bases
Un doppio, un triplo e un Homer idem (in più sono "pesati" in SLG, OPS, Totale Bases)
Una Walk entra in
OBP
OPS
Ovviamente, in qualche modo, anche SO e GDP entrano (a denominatore) nelle medie.
PO, A, E entrano in Fielding Percentage.

Per quanto riguarda il pitching.
Hits e Walks entrano nel WHIP.
Walks entrano anche in Strikeout to Walk Ratio, insieme agli strikeout che sono pure in
Strikeouts per Nine Innings.
HR entrano in Hits.
Hits diciamo che entrano in Total Bases Allowed.

Secondo punto: statistiche non totalmente dipendenti dal singolo giocatore.
Qualcuno ha proposto di non considerare i Runs perché non dipendenti dal singolo: sono d'accordo, ma si entra in un campo minato, perché dello stesso problema soffrono, tra le altre, RBI, W, L, che non credo vorremmo togliere.
Su questo punto non ci ragionerei troppo, altrimenti, come diceva Teo, per essere vicini alla realtà, ci incasiniamo e rendiamo tutto complicato.

Piuttosto porrei un altro punto: eventi rari.
Triples, Intentional Walks, Complete Games, Shutouts, Wild Pitches, Balks.
Per alcuni di questi rischieremmo molti pareggi 0-0; o, comunque, la vittoria di una squadra sull'altra dipenderebbe fortemente dal caso.

Infine, le statistiche di Playing Time (GP, GS, AB, TBF, IP): personalmente le utilizzerei solo - eventualmente - come parametri "di minimo", non per attribuire punteggi.

Ora la mia lista, con ogni scelta motivata.

Runs Scored; no - molto dipendente da altre statistiche; la componente di abilità del singolo è già espressa nel suo arrivo in base (e eventualmente nelle sue rubate)

Triples; sì - dovrebbe essere no per la questione degli eventi rari, ma non posso ignorare chi fa un triplo; mi spiego: l'ideale sarebbe contare doppi e tripli insieme (in un'unica classifica), ma non si può; in alternativa utilizzerei le Total Bases, dove un doppio vale 2, un triplo 3 e un HR 4. In questo caso dovrei o accettare double counting, o eliminare 1B, 2B, 3B, HR rimanendo con una manciata di statistiche offensive.
Home Runs; sì
Runs Batted In; sì, anche se molto dipendente dal contesto (sarebbe no se utilizzassi Total Bases o SLG)
Sacrifice Hits; no - troppo forti le componenti manager e situazioni delle partite
Sacrifice Flys; no - troppo dipendente dal contesto
Stolen Bases; sì - mettiamo anche la componente velocità
Caught Stealing; non so
Walks; sì - è un'abilità troppo importante; inoltre completiamo il set di statistiche che compongono la OBP
Intentional Walks; no - dipende dal contesto
Strikeouts; sì - così introduciamo un dilemma "costi/benefici" per giocatori tipo Dunn
Ground Into Double Play; no - contesto
Total Bases; no - double counting (anche se mi piacerebbe di più delle singole)
Putouts; no - ci sono in mezzo tutte le assistenze raccolte dai prima base e gli strikeout trattenuti dal catcher
Assists; non so
Errors; sì - qualcosa di difesa ci vuole (penso)

Se non ho contato male, ci sarebbero 8 statistiche offensive, 8 dei lanciatori e 1 difensiva (più qualcuna in limbo).
Sarebbero tutte counting stats, che pongono la necessità (quelle che si vincono a valori bassi, tipo ER) di istituire dei limiti minimi di playing time.

Io i Runs li adoro appartengono al favoloso mondo dei leadoff e fanno salire quotazioni di giocatori mediocri facenti parte di lineup esplosivi.

il dubbio che verrà a molti, come a me, sarà: come giocare ad un fantasy senza il fascino di AVG, ERA o WHIP a cui siamo tanto abituati?

gli eventi rari secondo me sono fondamentali. il fatto che spesso siano pareggiati non è un problema. il fatto che il tuo CG ti faccia vincere una stat in più (o un balk te la faccia perdere), credo sia proprio affascinante. così come un CG si fa notare nella realtà, allo stesso modo lo fa nel fantasy.
