Come ogni anno ad ovest arriviamo con il fiato corto alla finale dopo innumerevoli battaglie lungo tutta la stagione (a parte quelle poche settimane di pausa in cui andiamo a rilassarci contro le squadre dell'est). Dall'altra parte NY arriva alla finale con il suo drink in mano, dopo una RS in scioltezza e affrontando ai playoff Tampax e una Toronto che ha fatto la voce grossa trattenendo il ripieno, per poi farsela nei bragoni quand'era il momento di cagare fuori dal vaso! complimenti a NY: due su due!

L'anno scorso sono partiti da underdog, quest'anno sono stati protagonisti di una cavalcata interminabile, mai vista prima. Hanno messo a segno vittorie su vittorie, record su record, punti, gol, assist. Punti in uno scontro diretto, punti in una settimana, punti in una notte (sia quelli del fanta, sia quelli di cui bure ha avuto bisogno dopo una sua notte ideale stile Lapo). Il back to back e' ormai piu' di un obiettivo, e' proprio un traguardo, strameritato. Complimenti New York per questa grande stagione e questo trofeo piu' che meritato.
