Attention please!

To ease the computerized management of the Free Agency session on the new site,
trades will be suspended from september 6th at 18.00 (CET) to october 1st.

The time available to protest trades announced before that dealine will expire no further than at 13.00 (CET) on september 7th.

PLEASE NOTE that it will be up to the GMs involved in a late trade to rearrange within the deadline (september 8th 9.00 CET) their RFAs and protected players, if somehow affected by the outcome of the trade (approved or rejected).

REMINDER

Everyone,
Remember to set your startin roster on our new site within midnight of september 26th.
Please pay attention to not leave more than 25 players on your main roster (the counter gets red for a reason) cause exceeding players could be placed on waivers as a result!

Within the same deadline you also have to set accordingly your pre-draft rankings on yahoo.

In case a player of your selected 25 is not yet available on yahoo, use a phantom player instead (beware not to use a player owned by another team): later you'll be allowed to substitute such player with your real player without spending a move.

Please note that as far as the starting main roster goes, the one selected  on our site on september 26th is what really matters (in case of discordancy with yahoo).

Please note that the following limitations apply this year as well:

It won't be possible to make any trade from december 22nd at midnight (CET) until december 26th at midnight (the respective thread will re-open on 26th, but even if a trade is posted on 26th its 24hours evaluation time will start at midnight 26th).

It won't be possible to start a FA session beginning at december 22nd at midnight (CET) until december 26th at midnight.
The same applies for both FA and trades from december 30th at midnight until january 2nd at midnight.
FA sessions started before the deadline will go on as normally planned, eventual sanctions still apply.

Dicevo, anche quest'anno bisognera' tenere A MANO le stats dei portieri per ricalcolarle nell'arco dei 15 giorni.
A tal proposito saranno aperti 2 topic (playout / playoff) dove i vari MOD sono tenuti ad aggiornare/controllare le stats dei vari goalies schierati durante i matchup. E' tutto.  :gazza:

As discussed and approved in the rulebook topic the league will have a commission that will decide about rules changements and improvements.

League commission announces TheDominator has been voted in as the new GM for the Boston franchise (to be relocated shortly)

The league Commission has delivered its decisions for players' positions and the Stanleit site have been updated accordingly.

You can now check out the roles assigned to your players for the full next season, you won't find too many changes.

As said, these were the main criteria used to determine the positions:

if you think accordingly with these criteria a player of yours has not been assigned the correct position, you’ll have time till next Monday 21st to challenge the decision (explaining your reasons in the thread linked above) and get an answer within Monday 28th, i.e. before the start of the Entry draft.

You’ll still have time to challenge Commission’s decisions until July 15th and the league will deliver about those late requests within August, i.e. before the start of september Free agency.

Please note that any challenge going against the cited criteria will stand no chance of being accepted and will only result in a waste of time for both sides.

RITOCCO COEFFICIENTI
In occasione di questa off-season in cui si aggiungono le nuove stats, la commissione ha fatto il punto della situazione riesaminando l'impatto delle varie statistiche sui fantasy pts (quindi, per essere più precisi, sulle differenze dei totali dei fantasy pts tra squadre che vanno bene o male in una determinata statistica) e dopo fiumi di mail e calcoli ha deciso qualche piccolo ritocco; in particolare si è notato un peso eccessivo dei FW rispetto al contributo dei portieri e delle nuove statistiche.

Va sottolineato che i cambiamenti sono esclusivamente sui coefficienti dei fantasy points e quindi non riguardano in nessun modo i playoff o più in generale l'esito dei matchup.

Correzioni
FW: 0.3 -> 0.25
Hits: 0.2 -> 0.25
Blocked Shots: 0.2 -> 0.3
Take Aways: 0.5 -> 0.6
Saves:  0.3 -> 0.4 (con GA che resta  = -2.5)
SO:  10 ->  12

Come vedete le variazioni sono minime, essendo un imprevisto cambiamento in corsa si è cercato di non danneggiare nessuno e con la enorme disponibilità di giocatori nella free agency di quest'anno questo è sicuramente il momento migliore per farlo; chiunque si senta in qualche modo penalizzato avrà modo di adeguarsi attraverso la free agency.


RITOCCO BONUS PER OGNI STATISTICA VINTA
In considerazione anche del leggero aumento del totale dei fantasy pts derivante dall'aggiunta delle nuove stats, si è inoltre deciso un piccolo aumento del bonus per la vittoria e il pareggio della singola statistica nel matchup:

Stat pareggiata: 2 -> 2.5

As a result of the opinions expressed on this forum by GMs and of the following discussions inside the commission, the league decided the following policy to regulate the relocation process.


Premise: any change must be performed during the off-season.

a) teams whose ownership remained unchanged
Prohibition of both relocation and change of team's name for at least 4yrs from the last modification;
chance for relocation (only in the same conference, unless in the other one a new owner entering the league shows the will to change the conference of its inherited franchise) and/or change of team's name become available after 4 yrs through the payment of a fine worth 2M (to be applied to the following season salary cap).

b) New co-GM
Prohibition of relocation for 4 yrs just like if the ownership remained unchanged.
If the new GM is going to be the only co-GM of the team, change of team's name becomes available through the payment of a fine worth 1M (to be applied to the following season salary cap).
Max two changes of team's name are allowed in franchise history, no matter how many new co-GMs succeed (however it will still be allowed to go back to one of the previous names through the payment of 1M).
If the new co-GM joins a team where another co-GM stays in charge, the ownership will be considered untouched (see case a)

c) Ownership change (the new GM replaces the previous management)
Free relocation within the same conference and free change of the team's name (League Commission will have the chance to assess fines if the abandoning GM rejoins later on).
Relocation to the other conference available (Commission approval still necessary) only if a GM of the other conference is willing to switch: both teams would be fined 2M (fees to be applied to their following season salary caps).
If during the same offseason two new GMs enter the league in two different conferences, the Commission will have the chance to let them switch conference without applying any fine.

- New ownership Compensation
In case of ownership change, the League Commission will determine whether the entering GM deserves a compensation or not, depending on the situation of the inherited team.
The eventual compensation will be inspired by the following guidelines, which represent a superior limit for the assessable award:

No compensation if the new GM is brought in by the abandoning GM (even if under the necessary approval by the League Commission).

If instead the new GM chosen by the LC is supposed to have no legacy wth the previous ownership, some compensations may be assessed by the LC in the following Entry draft:

- Teams that finished 13th->16th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 1st round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation. If, in addition to missing this 3rd, the team doesn't have a 3rd rounder nor a pick in the entire draft of the following year, a pick at the end of that draft will be awarded.

- Teams that finished 7th->12th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 2nd round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation

- Teams that finished 1st-> 6th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 2nd round if the team doesn't have any 2nd rounder either; compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round if the team still has a 2nd rounder
2nd rounder: no compensation
3rd rounder: no compensation

* Raccogliendo una apparente unanimità di pareri nella commissione e non, le seguenti squadre sono fortemente incoraggiate a distinguere il loro nome da quello reale:
-Tampa Bay Lightning (logo da distinguere rispetto all'originale)

Ovviamente alle suddette squadre sarà permesso di modificare gratuitamente il nome durante questa offseason.

The League Commission was forced to decide another replacement.

A new GM has been picked to relieve the San José franchise, his username is Snipeshow and he will be the only SJ's GM from now onward.

More details here.


With reference to the new relocation policy, the LC determined no compensation is required for either TheDominator and Snipeshow:

San José owns a huge load of picks for the next two drafts.

Halifax could have been awarded a pick at the end of the upcoming Entry draft as compensation for the missing 2nd round pick, but considering the 1st overall pick resulting from the lottery win and the great cap room available for the huge september free agency, the compensation was deemed as not necessary at all.
