Novità sul contratto di Soler: Soler has reportedly agreed to a nine-year, $30 million contract with the Cubs. However, once he becomes arbitration-eligible, he will have the right to choose arbitration instead of the annual salaries specified by his contract. While this would open the door for him to earn significantly more money in the long-term, the Cubs probably won't complain too much if he pans out.

Bella boiata secondo me...

Rookie Anthony Rizzo singled up the right-field line to score David DeJesus in the first. Rizzo is hitting .356 with 10 RBIs in 15 games since being recalled from Triple-A Iowa.

The streaking Cubs have won 12 of their last 16 games since June 25, the best record in baseball over that span.

Dempster deve approvarla.
Se arriva Randall Delgado...

Esatto joe, sembrava fatta, invece tutto bloccato.

...

Cubs President Theo Epstein continued his front office makeover Wednesday, firing player personnel vice president Oneri Fleita and information manager Chuck Wasserstrom. Baseball operations director Scott Nelson was offered a lesser role in the organization, while stats manager Ari Kaplan will stay on as a consultant after his job was eliminated.
The rare occurence of the expected.

#sosoddisfazioni
